A great day at church today. Pastor Schlie lead the commissioning portion of the service and asked us to focus on (and memorize) the verse that outlines the fruits of the spirit. He then directed each of us to go and "be" one of those fruits. It was a really great emphasis for a mission team.
We also had members of the congregation sign a huge banner that says "Messiah Loves Nakabango". It's really colorful and the members of the Nakabango congregation will love it!
Today was the first round of malaria medication for some of us. Those taking the newer type don't start until later. Always interesting to see if there are any of the "weird dream" side effects!
Hope the week goes well. Some have lots still to do; others are pretty well ready. I can almost guarantee a Saturday night run to WalMart next week!
