Packing Day

Wow - 13 bags packed with supplies. We're actually going to pay to take 1 extra bag. I believe we could have filled 5 more suitcases with hats! All bags hit 50 pounds.

The VBS kids came through with 100 disposable cameras and 717 punch balls! Thank you!!!

We're also taking paint, canvas, 500 t-shirts, 700 hats, candy, disposable cameras, tools, bubble supplies, wiffle balls/bats, jump ropes, solar panel controllers, lots of cards, letters and pictures for sponsored kids, jewelry-making supplies, friendship-bracelet-making supplies, etc. It promises to be an eventful week.

I would ask that you keep us in your prayers for the next 12 days. Pray for peace and comfort as we leave our families (always the hardest part of me) and that our time in Uganda, especially Nakabango, is productive. My hope is that everything we do will glorify God! Thanks to all for supporting us in so many ways!

We're meeting at 9:00 tomorrow in the church parking lot near QT. Our flight leaves around 12:40 and we go to Newark. From there, it's off to Brussels and then on to Entebbe. Yes, about 22 hours in the air! I'll update this again as soon as I can.
